• Xu Shubin and Wei Qingxian Fund for Talents in Physics

Mr Xu Shubin, alumni of the Department of Physics at Beijing Normal University and Ms Wei Qingxian, together with their son, Dr Eric Xu Yong initiated the Fund for Talents in Physics at Mr Xu’s alma mater. The fund is intended to help elevate the school internationally, enhancing the quality of the faculty by nurturing senior talent, expanding teaching, research support and management team capabilities. Supported programmes include a lecturer scholarship, outstanding student scholarship and initiatives to cultivate an innovative academic culture within the department.
