JingE Fellowship was initiated by the Beijing Yifang Foundation in 2016. It is a programme that supports young talents who are passionate about research in the public welfare sector. Grounded in the philosophy of being people oriented and helping others to succeed, the JingE Fellowship advocates the value of putting knowledge into practice. The foundation seeks pragmatic, professional, forward looking and innovative young researchers who are not afraid to search for answers to hard questions. The programme currently has 45 fellows from across China, the United States of America, Germany and the United Kingdom. Research topics range from volunteer service, humanitarian assistance, disability assistance, community development and environmental protection. The foundation intends to continue developing the programme by creating a platform to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the fellows and industry partners in hopes of benefitting the public welfare sector.
